    Hi, I have been using FairUse wizard to back up DVDs. Sometimes, it changes the resolution of the video. For instance, it may take a 720x480 movie and change the resolution to 688x384. Is this change just associated with cropping and anamorphic resizing, or am I losing quality?

    It looks like it's just anamorphic resizing. But imagine reducing the frame size from 720x480 to 1x1. How much quality do you think you'll lose?
