What I'm referring to is the CUSTOMIZE feature — and namely, that FAB PLAT doesn't always honor the boxes you have deliberately unchecked (in any event, it doesn't with the 4 or 5 movies I've extracted thus far). It's hit and miss with the version I'm still testing (6.0.6.0). Sometimes it writes only the selections I've checked and then at other times it just ignores my selections and writes every chapter.

I've come up with a workaround — namely, to close out the program and then open it again to see what it reports from the folder I just wrote to (so at least I'm not burning any more coasters) but I would like to know if anyone else has noticed this. If it ignored my selections on the prior run, I can re-run it, but it would be nice to know that I could reliably depend upon FAB PLAT without this verification step.

I suspect the customize problems may be longstanding: some of the boxes I had checked -- in various of the versions 4 or 5 -- such as "remove annoying PGCs" never did work for me. If such things continued in v. 6, it would not be a huge surprise. Maybe we should just be glad the ripper usually works pretty well. I've long since taken to having Fab write the DVD to HDD, and then burning it with IMGBURN.
When in Las Vegas, don't miss the Pinball Hall of Fame Museum ( http://www.pinballmuseum.org/ ) (http://lasvegas.wikia.com/wiki/Las_V...of_Fame_Museum ) -- over 150 tables from 6+ decades of this gradually disappearing American art form.
