I just got the Hauppauge HD-PVR (a box that encodes HD programs from my cable box into h.264 .tp files) and use Snapstream BeyondTV as the GUI to do recordings. My problem is VideoRedo, an editing tool I like, does not read h.264 files. There will be a new version of VideoRedo that can read h.264 but their forum indicates it won't be soon. I've been using VideoRedo to edit .tp files, do joins and splits, and I like the SPEED with which it does it and with no loss in video/audio quality, but the .tp files I have had were in MPEG2 format. Does anyone know any tools that can handle h.264 and works as well as VideoRedo?
Try StreamFab Downloader and download from Netflix, Amazon, Youtube! Or Try DVDFab and copy Blu-rays! or rip iTunes movies!

Try tssniper, see https://forum.videohelp.com/topic372705.html#2002642 . But I haven't see any h264 editor that is good as videoredo, mpeg-vcr yet.
