Howdy, everyone. If you couldn't tell from the subject title, I'm attempting to capture the output from my 360 to use as a source for live stream gameplay (with websites like justin.tv or livestream.com) and/or to record and edit on my PC. I am only vaguely aware of what to do to accomplish this and the materials required.. I have a fairly expandable budget (probably to a max of $200 USD or so), and I'll tell you my current set up and what I have:

- Console: Xbox 360 Elite with standard composite cables and a HDMi cable.

>> http://www.xbox.com/en-US/hardware/x/xbox360hdmiavcable/ (Just the HDMI cable, not that other thing.)

- LCD Screen: ViewSonic 22" 1080p LCD HDTV VT2230 w/ 6 video inputs including digital HDMI

- Computer (Laptop): ASUS M50VM-B1 laptop
>> http://www.notebookreview.com/price/product.asp?productFamilyID=1163&pid=166232 (This means I can use external capture cards only, I believe.)

- Secondary computer (ONLY IF NECESSARY): A backup 300gb hd desktop computer. Pretty old.

- Some old, stray ATI graphics card with DVI Out/TV Out/VGA Out. Should still work. Don't know if this can be used for anything.

- An ATI TV Wonder Pro (?) Tuner. Not sure if this can be used for anything either.

- An old Hauppauge! WinTV USB external capture card. Will probably want to replace it or somethin'.

It should be noted that I do not mind recording/streaming in low quality, so long as I can still use my LCD screen to continue playing in HDMi. I know that recording/streaming HD television requires a lot of bandwidth, harddrive space and/or computer processing power.

Now, I may be able to find some other assorted cables around the house and gender exchangers and whatnot, but otherwise I am almost entirely in the dark here. Does anyone have some good information for me and how to help me? And if you need anymore information, I'll be happy to provide it.
