I'm extremely new to this (and extremely old). Can someone please give me a very simple (ex. turn camera on, put it in playback mode, attach USB connector) instructions on how to get my video from the camera to the computer.

It's driving me nuts and I've tried about 100 ways and my wife is nagging me because the grandkids are coming over and she thinks they're the cutest things ever (they are) and she's nagging me to be able to video them, then upload the video to our new mac and then edit it - so we don't seem like helpless old idiots.

    Thanks people.

iMovie9? or what? Define project as AVCHD and capture over USB2. iMovie will import and downsize to 960x540p for editing. Export options are several or the project can be transferred to iDVD.
