Hi there,
I'm trying to build a HTPC which - if all works as planned - will take the place of a regular tv at home.
Since TFTs are getting larger and cheaper, I seriously consider using a 27" TFT with this baby to watch my movies and tv.
Now I'm looking for a TV tuner card to do all this and the requirements are a bit of a knockout:
Low-profile form factor
PCI-e connection preferred
DVB-T (and if DVB-S is supported as well, it's no harm)
HDTV capable
Dual-Tuner (simultaneous recording - viewing)
(optional) MPEG-4 AVC capable (planning for the future)
If anyone can give me recommendations for such a card, they are highly appreciated.
I know, chances are slim
Btw, for those who tried a HDTV tuner with the new Windows 7 Media Center, is HDTV possible here?
Thanks for your help
Robert
