I want to stitch .MTS files together into one file and have the stitched file remain .MTS. I have a Canon HF S100 every time I start and stop the recording it makes a separate file. So, I need to make them all one file. I want to maintain the .MTS format for the stitched file? Any ideas?

try tsmuxer. It should work with mts files. I don't know if it will output in mts however.

There is also tscutter I think. I don't know if it merges or not. Try checking in the tools section on the loeft. Look for editing tools and search by mts or m2ts.

Same thing. Just change the extension to .m2ts and back to .mts when you're done
