  1. I'm using MPC HC 32bit on XP 64.

It's works fine because I installed a package from Codecguide.

Recentely a new MPC HC x64 was released but it's plays only avi files.

Could someone help me to understand what is the correct way to get my MPCHCX64 working "at best"?

    TIA

PS even a a link to a guide on movie playback will be appreciated.

You shouldn't need any codec packs for mpchc, just enable all the filters under view->options->internal filters in mpchc. And if you want it as default players for all video extensions change it under options->player->formats.

And use the official mpchc 64bit from http://sourceforge.net/projects/mpc-hc/files/MPC%20HomeCinema%20-%20x64/MPC-HC%20v1.3.1249.0_64%20bits/MPC-Homecinema.1.3.1249.0.(x64).zip/download

  3. I did it, even If I don't understand the difference between "Internal" and "stand alone" filters.

I even don't undertand why these internal filters are not selected by default......

I still have problem with VC-1 (WMV3) file (Info from mediainfo x64) -> error is "cannot render the file"

moreover, playing MPEG file MPC HC X64 crashes.

    Any suggestion?

    thank you
