Convert SONY CAMCODER PAL to NTSC

Hi,
I bought a Sony HDR-HC1E but it's PAL-System. I've seen that the HDR-HC1 is almost the same Camera. Is there any way to switch my HDR-HC1E (PAL) to an HDR-HC1 (NTSC)? Like changing Firmware or weld a pin inside the Camera? Maybe there is a jumper inside?

no. if you want ntsc sell the hc1e and buy a ntsc cam.
