When I go to Hard Drive (C)
    Then go to Properties
Then click on the General tab

    I get this:
Compress this hard drive to save disk space

Index this drive for faster searching

    What do these mean?

How is this different than a defragmentation?

    Thank you, guys

  2. In Windows desktop, press F1 (Help) and search on these phrases.

    Windows Help will explain them.
