mpc-hc won't play certain vids mpc will?

mpc-hc won't play any .m2ts or .mts files? all i get is a black screen as it reports it's playing or it won't even start trying to play them.

mpc plays the same files fine?

any idea what i need to do?

mpc-hc, new install of latest release as is mpc. both set to system default output.

Try enabling/disabling the internal MPEG PS/TS/PVA source filter. View -> Option -> Internal Filters. Also check the H264 and MPEG-2 Transform filters.

thanks. i turned off all of these extra transform filter mpc-hc has that mpc doesn't and now mpc-hc works fine.
