My Sandisk 4gb cruzer US stick won't fit in the opening for the USB drive of my Epson NX415 printer. The USB connection is recessed in the printer and the outer plastic covering doesn't allow the case of the cruzer to pass thru it.

Before I take the printer back I was wondering if there's any type of extender I could plug the USB stick into. I have several USB sticks - none of which can get past the opening of the printer.

    thanks

Yes, there are USB extension cables that would resolve this.

thanks, I saw some $30 or so priced ones on BestBuy and figured there had to be something much cheaper. Put 'usb extension cable' into Ebay and found the 'extension cord' type thing I needed for a couple of bucks.

Do you have a Dollar Tree, 99 cent store or Big Lots near you? All of them have USB extension cables for a buck.
