    Direct upload straight from MTS file off the Canon Vixia HFS10 - directly onto youtube....

    Suggestions?

  2. No surprises there. Canon MTS files are known to be problematic with lots of software. If I remember correctly Canon marks them as 60 fps when they are really 30i.

    What do you suggest?

    I have Adobe Premiere CS4 with Adobe Media Encoder.

    Im trying an H.264 encoding for the first time. Im new to this.

    Best output I've gotten so far is with the "Preset" of "HD 1080p 29.97 High Quality" setting.... But its not as clear.

    Whats the solution for this well known Canon problem?

    Basically, don't upload the native video. Convert it to something Youtube likes, preferably at 720p or msaller
