OK, jman98 I'm passing up a HUGE one here

3D movies are put on Discs the same way as any other movie. They are also backed up the same exact way
There are no 3D discs used

Any disc is fine. Just use a good blank DVD. See the blank DVD media guides for information on what DVDs are the best to use for DVD-Video. See http://www.digitalfaq.com/reviews/dvd-media.htm

    tealmarlin,

    what do you really want?

If you're trying to back up a disc, state what the disc is (title and format/specs) and what equipment you've got.
Only then can anybody begin to take you seriously. (You do realize that the companies that standardize DVD and BluRay haven't even finalized a true 3D standard, don't you?)
