Where are the subtitles kept on a blu ray disk? I made a back up of Letters from Iwo Jima using anydvd then I shrank it with BD Rebuilder. If I then want to make DVD with Convertx2dvd how can I add the English subtitles? Alternatively if I use Sothink HD Movie Maker to make AVCHD disk, how do I ensure that the subtitles are there?
Thanks in advance for any help?

In the m2ts files. I think you can extract the subs using tsmuxer and then convert to sub/idx using BDSup2Sub or srt using SupRip and add in ConvertXtoDVD.

Baldrick, do you know a good way to rip a BD to m2ts but make forced subtitles burned in?

I'm currently working with my copy of Black Hawk Down. I ripped the disc using AnyDVD, then joined the two m2ts files of the main movie using tsmuxer. I now have one file that is the entire movie. I have one issue. I wasn't sure which of the subtitle streams was the "forced" one so I left all the English PGS in. I opened the m2ts file in MPC but the subtitle option was greyed out. I'm not sure if it's a player issue or something else.

What is your goal with this? For computer playback then I would make a mkv using makemkv and if the subs wont work add them to the mkv using mkvtoolnix.

I generally (using ripbot) convert my m2ts files to a 720p mkv with AC3 audio, and stream them to the PS3.
