    Hello! I have DVD Player Toshiba SD-790.I would like to change them to region free.Please, anyone who knows the codes or FW may help.

    Have you tried DVD's in the machine that aren't your Region?
    I'm asking because the Toshiba SD-790 is often sold already Region Free.

    KBeee!I've tried DVD's Region 0, it doesn't work. DVD's Toshiba SD-790 Region 5 only sold in Russia!

    Because your player is a different model, those options probably will not be successful. I looked at them and I don't think your player will be damaged if you try. Probably all that will happen is that the codes will do nothing.

    Wow! That's a harsh lock-down. No wonder you need a region free code if the machine won't even play an All Regions 0 DVD!

    Depending of the case, if you cant' find any firmware to "unlock" your machine, you'll need to use anydvd or similar ones applications to make "free" region your disc.

    After that, you can copy these dvd's to your PC, entirely and burn it into a blank media dvd disc ( 4,5gb or 9 gb - these one avoiding any loss quality).

    Doing that way, you can watch the movie in your dvd player without problem.
