I've got 6 minutes long VOB file. Five minutes is fine but then the sound is corrupted. Would it be possible to split VOB to video and audio, then repair audio and put it back together? All without quality loss? What software should I use? Thank you

Open the VOB in DGIndex. Then File->Save Project and Demux Video. That'll give you the AC3 audio (if that's what it is) and M2V video. The audio can be decoded to PCM WAV audio at the same time if you like. Do what you want with the audio. You can remux to .mpg with Imago MPEG Muxer (but not with AC3 audio), or made into a DVD (with IFO, BUP, and VOB) using Muxman. The video will remain untouched. The audio will be as good as your software and skills allow.
