  1. Just took a look on my last tape recorded. A huge part of the tape is apparently somehow damaged.
    Take a look on this sample.

    Is this something commonly known with DV-tapes?
    Tape was a Fujifilm regular, recorded with a Sony Handycam HC53E.

  2. the cam has a dirty head. use a head cleaning tape and the next tape you record should be ok.

    stick to 1 brand/model of tape to prevent the possibility of mixing dry lube and wet lube which creates a gummy mess on the heads.
