Hi, i've got some mpeg2 (DVD format) videos - taken from my STB via easycap, all is fine, except the broadcaster had a technical problem on one of the programmes which resulted in the audio going out of sync. Now, it's a 43min video, the sync starts off ok, and gradually drifts out, to just over 1sec by the end. This obviously means i need to slow the audio track down a touch, but all i have presently is UVS, and it will only let you change audio speed in 1% increments, and 1sec in 43min is far less than that!
Is there a way round it? Or some better s/w maybe?
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Use Audacity. It is free, and has a "tempo change" tool that will stretch or shorten the audio as needed. If the sync is truly drifting at a constant rate, then that will fix it. If the sync drifts at a non-constant rate, you have to do a bit more work.
