Is there truly any documented differences in DVD burners? Can I pay a couple hundred more and get a DVD burner that will write and read recorded media any better than a cheaper one? Will a more expensive one last longer than a cheaper one? Not by anyones opinion, but known fact?? Ok then, by someones opinion? What burner would this be? Is it that units that are, lets say in the $35 to $80 range all have lifetimes and quality about the same, but to go beyond this now we have to spend $800???
