I've tried numerous codecs, all seem to have the same problem. Distortion on a string section. Any suggestions?

What audio bitrate did you upload at?
Youtube re-encodes everything with a low audio bitrate
I would find another hosting site if audio is important to you

It was re-encoded at 77kbps, here is your "video" , even if you uploaded a lossless flac (if youtube accepted it), it wouldn't sound much better because of the low bitrate
