    hi,

Does anyone know if it is possible to convert .xml files to .srt? i want to download bbc iplayer videos and extract the subtitle from them. When I download the video the subtitle file is in .xml format. The text within the .xml file is very clear it's just that I don't know how to convert it. I have tried Google2SRT but i just get back a load of errors as I think it is google specific.

If anyone knows anything please let me know!

    Subsync

    Yes!
After hours and hours of searching I finally found it.
Download Subtitle Edit. I think the latest version is 2.8.5.
    It is freeware.

    Enjoy.

  6. Tried to install SubtitleEdit & the Setup file just hangs there! I tried 2 different zip downloads & even tried the previous version (3.2.5), all with the same result.
    I'm on Windows 7, 64-bit.

    Any ideas?

    Thx.
