    Hello,

I have been asked to diliver in the following format and im having toubble meeting the criteria:

    Video: 1920X1080
    MPEG-2 Transport Stream
    25Mb Bitrate
    .TS or .MKV

    Audio : AC3 448Bit

im using Windows XP and Sorenson Squeeze 5 i have exported a file with the above specs but with Elementary Stream (ES) i am wondering if i can just use TXMUXER to convert it to a .TS file. will that effectivly give me a Mpeg2 TS format or is it just the container file that is .TS

Squeeze fails to make a media file when i attempt to compress with the ablove in TS

i have been thrown in the deep end with this one so any hwlp would be appreciated.

If you have compliant elemental streams xxx.m2v and xxx.ac3, then yes, TsMuxer can mux them into a compliant .TS file.
Got my retirement plans all set. Looks like I only have to work another 5 years after I die........

  3. Yep, the transport stream is just a container

What is your source file format? Use mediainfo if you don't know

One way to do this is to use avisynth, HCenc to generate elementary MPEG-2 video, Aften to generate AC3, and tsmuxer to mux into .ts
