Please wait at least 24 hours before bumping your own posts.

FWIW, porn downloading is not something that is usually discussed on this board. We cater for a general age group audience, so it is not considered an appropriate topic.

Download Helper for Firefox seems to work with a wide range of sites. It even has an index of all the sites it covers.

You might also try the Unplug extension, if you're using Firefox.

Unplug has, unfortunately, fallen well behind in usefulness. It is supported under the latest versions, and seems to be finding less and less useful links.

The autoupdate basically breaks its functionality. You have to setup your firewall and backup specific .dlls from an older version for it to work. The http streams (progressive download) can just be found in the browser cache, there is no need for external programs. I have no idea what site format the intended sites that the OP mentioned use.

It's not for all RTSP stream types, just for its newer protected modification (like the type now used by VH1). Still works with CBS RTSP streams somehow. BTW, is there a way to find that legendary dll for RTSP and what is its build number?

I use Orbit Downloader. It seems to work on most (mumble, mumble, sputter) sites.

Yep thanks for the correction, it's just the secure ones (usually paid sites)

It was listed on a thread on videohelp (with the date of the .dll build), and I think the replay media capture forums as well.

Orbit is downloading a file that contains an encrypted link to the real stream. The Grab++ app that comes with orbit might be able to get the real stream. Probably not. Adobe has been working very hard to make this difficult.

I check out tube8, its progressive download. i.e. just check your browser cache when the video is downloaded (the red bar is complete) and the video will be there

I tested it on IE7, and they appear in the browser cache, just like 99% of other video sites that are progressive download. Maybe it's a firefox incompatibility thing

I just checked the two web sites mentioned. As poisondeathray indicated, the viewed videos are in the browser cache. If you're using IE the browser cache is usually in c:\documents and settings\your username\local settings\temporary internet files\... Search for the FLV file from there. Clearing the cache while viewing the video will get rid of all the other junk making it easier to find the file. You may also need to change Explorer's settings to allow viewing hidden and system files.

Try VideoCacheView, although I think if you use Video Download Helper with FF you won't have any problems. Personally, I would not be going to sites like that armed only with IE for protection. You never know what you might catch.

I just tried Orbit on that site. Grab++ works fine on it. Just download the .flv file, not the viewer.
