Using what software ?
What format are the subs ?
What is your source video format ?
What is your output video format ?
What is your process ?
software
TMPGEnc 4.0 XPress
to mux subtitles
sub format is
I think is srt
input video format is xvid in an mkv
Output format is mpeg
Process
I use TMPGEnc and just load the mkv and mux subs into an mpeg.
If you have an avi file and are outputting an MKV file, why not just use MKV merge to put the subs in without re-encoding.
I don't want the ouput to be mkv I want the subs to permanent. Is there any way I can just crop it or dose it have to do with the subtitle format or length?
Never mind I fixed it. I just used MKVEWizard and muxed them together from separate audio, video and subtitle using the older version of
TMPGEnc. Thank you for your help. I hope this helps anyone else whit the same problem.
