I can't remember where it was originally located, but I found an old log in "my documents", that I had saved from before, I am pretty sure that I did not change the name, it is named vlc-log.txt, just do a system search for it, hopefully it will show up, sorry I can't be of any more help.

i've been searching for a file that ended in .log not .txt so maybe i'll be able to find it now.
or maybe not. searched the entire c: drive and no go. maybe it was in temp folder, but i empty them everyday. next time i'll look there.
