    the door/tray on my LiteOn DVD burner is stuck. I know how to open it with a paper clip but that is getting old. Sometimes it opens by iself, but about 3/4 of the time, it makes a sound like it's trying to open but it doesn't.

    Does anyone know something I can try to get it to work better? (sort of getting a new drive?)

    It probably just needs a belt. On all DVD drives I've seen it's under the tray. You can probably just go to a local electronics repair shop or supply store and buy one. Take the belt off first and take it with you.
