Hi everyone,
I'm trying to make blu-ray to mkv convertion following this protocol:
http://gaia.hdfrench.com/bluray/video.php
The BR used is "Shoot Em Up".
It has a .vc1 video encoding, contained in the .m2ts file (I ripped it from the blu-ray with "anyDVD").
The audio is not the problem in my case, the problem is video.
I extract the .vc1 file using "eac3to and more GUI", then I create a .grf file with "Graphedit" and then a .avs that I open in "MeGUI".
At this point, I encode the .vc1 to xvid in a .avi container.
The thing is: Shoot Em Up is 1h 26mn 32sec long but MeGUI create a time limitation on the output file that last 1h 08mn.
I tried to force MeGUI to make a longer output putting the right settings in the bitrate calculator but MeGUI continues to create the 1h08mn limitation.
I didn't find anything on the web that helped me to solve the problem.
At the end of the process, I made the merging of audio and video with "MKVmerge" so I finally have a .mkv file with .mp3 audio and xvid video.
I've find lots of good information on this site and I hope that some guys here would have the right answer!
Thanks
Léni
