Im converting avis into mpgs for authoring a dvd
im using TMPGEnc to convert the avis, whats the best setting to use for playback on televisions?
16:9?
or isit best to keep it as the suggested settings of 1:1 vga?

AVI sources will most often be 1:1 VGA. But the best setting is the one that matches your source. For output select 4:3 or 16:9 whichever most closely matches the source's display aspect ratio.

how do i check the sources display aspect ratio, i cant find anything in properties?
