From googling, it sounds like a windows thing called sticky keys.

You can either turn it off to stop the beeping or take the keyboard apart and clean it. A maintainance that I do when my keyboard starts looking to grundgy. My brother's keyboard is only a year old and we already had to clean it.

I kept getting that on my laptop. Very irritating. It's probably 'Toggle Keys' instead of 'Sticky Keys'.

    Turn on Toggle Keys.
This option sets Toggle Keys to run when you log on to Windows. Toggle Keys can play an alert each time you press the CAPS LOCK, NUM LOCK, or SCROLL LOCK keys. These alerts can help prevent the frustration of inadvertently pressing a key and not realizing it.
It's in the 'Ease of Acess Center' in Vista.

Since I was always hitting my 'Caps Lock' key on my laptop while typing, I remaped that key to the 'Scroll Lock' key, which I never used anyway.

And hech54, in the future please use a more descriptive subject title in your posts to allow others to search for similar topics. I will change yours this time. From our rules:
Try to choose a subject that describes your topic.
Please do not use topic subjects like Help me!!! or Problems.
    Thanks,
