How do i open multiple files in ffmpegX?

at the moment i don't have any way to join clips together

I want to do the following:-

    1. select 6 files
    2. open with FFMPEGX
    3. then encode and get a single file output

I stumbled on "Tshed" , but wasn't sure if it could be any help?

thank You for ANY help (Appologies, I am a novice)

ffmpegX has a Join tool, in the Tools tab, to (attempt to) join m1v, m2v, mpg or avi files.
Joining files can lead to other problems (glitches, sync loss, etc). So if you tell us about your source files and your end goal, perhaps there is a better way to achieve that goal.

    1. I did find the Join tool (as you say) but it looked like it only joined 2 clips (NOT 6)

I'm the one with the MOD files codec (a type of MPEG2 codec)....

CASE you have already solved my problem of no Audio by changing the .MOD extension to .VOB

    2. the end goal is .mp4 container in the x.264 format

    & 1 single file

The join tool will work on a pair of files at a time. Here, you will need to perform five total join operations to complete the job.
