Where Do I Put The x264.EXE?

I want to experiment with x264 output from VDub.
Will x246 show up and act like Xvid in VDub?

if you install the x264 vfw codec, it will show up in virtualdub codec list just like xvid

How do you install it?
I double clicked the .exe file 20 times....nothing.

try downloading it again. the 32 bit one works, i tried it. you should get this installer after double clicking the exe.

That did the trick.....x264vfw_17_1145bm_18747(2).exe worked
and the original didn't.
Strange.
