  1. I am having this very same issue: https://forum.videohelp.com/topic343803.html

Except now it seems that no matter what outcome I choose (other than FLV) the file is either 0KB or it doesn't come out at all. I have tried inverting audio and it failed the conversion. My file is a Vista created audio+video .WMV, and I am working on my Mac iBook G4. I want to convert it to FLV or MP4 whichever keeps the best quality for the most compression.

At first I thought that it was creating a "shortcut" to the original file because when I open the FLV file in VLC, it plays the ORIGINAL as long as its somewhere present in the computer. If I eject the drive where the file sits, it doesn't play and I don't get any error message or notice why it doesn't play.

I read the information contained here http://ffmpegx.com/flv.html and it doesn't help me at all. Like I said I inverted audio as well. Nothing.

If the program had worked for me I would love to register it, but there is nothing more annoying than seeing the register message when the darn program doesn't do what is supposed to do. Do all these software developers think I will actually register if the program doesn't do what its supposed to?

    Thank in advance.

  3. Only VLC plays it, but it is not for me, it is to send by email to an art studio. It needs to be under 15MB in size and preferably FLV or MP4.

I would post in YouTube or Rapidshare, but I doubt the manager of the art studio is willing to do all of that. I need something that she can play in the email right away.

UPDATE: It seems I have found a VERY complicated solution to this. It can be found in this page and suggests to separate audio and video and re-join them in Quicktime. I bought Quicktime Pro a couple of months ago. I guess there is no easy way to do this. I can't believe Quicktime Pro can't do it in the first place, terrible support!
