I keep checking back every week looking for CUDA developements that possibly would speed up the whole BluRay conversion to .x264.
I've been pretty happy with Badaboom converting DVDs down to .264 file for my Apple Touch but now I'm starting to rip my BluRay library to mkv for easy playback on my new shiny WDTV HD.
I'm always confused at what CUDA will help with as it crushes files to small iphone resolution using the GPU but doesn't really provide much speed up with other formats.
Does anyone here use a CUDA enabled app for conversion to large .x264 files eg. 8 G from BluRay rips?
I guess the absence of CUDA discussion around here might be an answer....

Newer versions of Badaboom allow for higher resolutions. Up to 1080p I believe. Also look into Media Coder, discussed here: http://forum.videohelp.com/topic370477.html
