    I got a sv2000 WV10D6 dvd recorder from my aunt, she does not have the remote. I can watch DVD's fine even record as normal with a universal remote. I am use a time warner cable remote UR5U-MDVR-TWC the manual i found for the recorder says press setup and go to finalize disc. I have no setup key on the remote I have a menu button but that does not do anything, if anyone can help me out it would be appreciated.

    Maybe you can contact the manufacturer through their support desk and ask if you can buy another remote.
