Thread: Maxell DVD+R

Thread
  1. Hiya guys, just wondering if anybody has used these discs for movie burning purposes

I usually use dvd-r media, but my friend just gave me a 25 batch of these. I'm unsure of the media code as I don't want to open the seal just incase They need to be returned to the store. Any help welcome guys

Linux _is_ user-friendly. It is not ignorant-friendly and idiot-friendly.

Before I learned anything about DVD disc quality, I bought a 25 pack of Maxell. They were easily the worst discs I ever bought. I got 3 coasters while burning them. It really doesn't matter who made these discs for Maxell as Maxell only uses lower quality manufacturers. The fact that some reviewers say that they are "good" is meaningless. They are crap.

I had good luck with Maxwell in the past, but I prefer Verbatim as my first choice.

It's all CMC or Ritek now, I would avoid for sure.
