Can someone tell me why I could not encode the file, It is captured via watchtv as a dvr-ms, using an ATI HDtv wonder pci, I'm using the latest version of svcd2dvd. I'm also attaching a link to the file. Thanks.

Works fine here... are you getting an error?

  3. Hi Chris,

I tried it too and though it seems to process fine, I get a black video. I was going to try the avs option but haven't had time as yet. No error produced.

  5. I never doubted your success.

I also have processed it successfully. Chalk my error up to PC needing a reboot.

Hi guys, sorry for the late reply, the problem i'm getting is the video shows a black screen during playback but the audio sound good, the video format also goes to 4:3 format although its blank, I'm just using the default settings of svcd2dvd, might be my own computer is giving me the problems cus you guys think its ok. the only thing I dont get is if i convert the dvr-ms to ts then encode it under svcd2dvd, everything comes out perfect.

Are you playing the DVD on your computer or DVD Player/TV?
