Ok this is my poll but it is directly inspired from ally68's poll suggestion of most used zip compression utility.
So what is your most used burning app?
On my xp machine I'd say prassi ones. On my vista pc its roxio creator basic 9 (hey it was preinstalled and it does what I need it to - don't laugh).
I'm gonna predict imgburn gets the hands down top vote here at this website. It would be interesting to see where nero and roxio end up.

Donatello - The Shredder? Michelangelo - Maybe all that hardware is for making coleslaw?
Without a doubt, it will be imgburn.
It's one of the best, if not the best and on top of that it's free.

It's not a DVD Shrink release that uses ImgBurn automatically, but a modded version: http://download3.videohelp.com/DVDSh..._w_ImgBurn.rar
Also called: ' DVD Shrink 3 2 b w IB ' if you need to find it with a search.
I personally like CDBurnerXP, a free burning software which does everything I need from a burning software
ONES + ImgBurn + RNM 4.5
Answers to Common Video Questions:
Best blank discs • Timebase Corrector FAQ • Best VCR for capturing • Help restoring video
Imgburn is the only burning software on my computers.

- I stopped burning DVDs; they're so 20th century.

imgburn.
Was there any doubt?
eh that's why I said "disc burning" not dvd burning.....Originally Posted by rumplestiltskin

Imgburn for DVD Video and data, Prassi ONES for audio.
BurnAware Free
I used to be a die hard nero supporter but it's so bloated with crap now (when there is better freeware/cheaper programs that do a better job out there). Now I'm a big user of imgburn with prassiones being a light year second.
On the subject of LightningUK, I would love to see other projects by him appear.
"Zed's dead, baby."
Nero 6 Ultra
I use imgburn for dual layer work, but everything else is still with the great Stomp/Veritas Recordnow max (with the mod for it to see newer burners)
Cdrecord from cdrtools, and cdrdao for Karaoke discs.
Linux _is_ user-friendly. It is not ignorant-friendly and idiot-friendly.
Imgburn...and can I pass my thanks to the author for making it so...
Imgburn for DVD, Burrrn for audio CD. I wish Imgburn improved its audio CD capabilities, to make it more "one-click". Also I wish it would add a "multisession CD-RW" option as this would be handy at my work and I could uninstall Nero, which I hate.
One thing with Imgburn is when I rip an audio CD to an image file, then burn it onto a blank CD, it invariably tells me "not enough room on the disk", although there is of course, and it burns just fine.
InfraRecorder for CD/DVD. It's free, works great and there's a 64-bit version I use in XPx64.
Imgburn for my BD-5 / BD-9 disks
Nero when using my laptop. There is no such thing as "Idiot-Proof".........a good Idiot will get around that every time.
Okay this poll is really shocking me. I'm surprised that nero is leading the pack with such a wide margin. I thought that imgburn would be blowing the others away by now.
At the moment
nero 69% with 619 votes
imgburn 21% with 187 votes

Maybe nero is on top because it comes bundled with a lot of burners. Still it really surprises me.Donadagohvi (Cherokee for "Until we meet again")
