bluray rip mkv to mp4 for the xbox

hi guys need some help, can i convert a bluray mkv to mp4 so i can play it on my 360 if so how can i do this. i tried using this program called gotsent to covert bluray mkv to mp4 and the mp4 file plays on my computer but when i try to stream it using tversity i get an error can't play this content contact xbox support.
can the xbox 360 play bluray mkv converted to mp4?

i just read that you cannot stream files bigger than 4gb, is this true?
the reason i'm trying to stream my movies is to avoid splitting the file, this sucks
