  1. Hi all

another one project (cross platform with windows) , this one aimed only for ffmpeg

    http://www.64k.it/andres/data/autoff/autoffmpeggui.tar.gz

you need gtk, xterm and ffmpeg, mplayer for autocrop

should be quite easy to use, it works on profile, so can be exanded quickly, has a fuctional queue

it should work, even if is my software

    Looks good buzz as always.
You still using pure basic? I'm considering looking into pure basic myself.

Can't try it out, 32bit only. I checked Pure Basic's site to see if they have a 64bit compiler I could use on your source. PB has a 64bit version in the works.

    The GUI looks nice

The application is compiled for 32bit, so it will not run in a pure 64bit environment.

    Code:
    file autoffmpeggui
autoffmpeggui: ELF 32-bit LSB executable, Intel 80386, version 1 (SYSV), dynamically linked (uses shared libs), stripped
    For a 64bit program
    Code:
    file kino
kino: ELF 64-bit LSB executable, x86-64, version 1 (SYSV), dynamically linked (uses shared libs), stripped
If the source code is available, and the compiler supports 64bit, you can compile as a 64bit program. Since PureBasic does not support 64bit binaries, and the source code is 2 Pure Basic files, the application can not be used on a pure 64bit setup, until Pure Basic releases their native 64bit compiler

    ---edit----

Make that 64bit for Linux, as a Windows 64bit version is currently available.

Not a flame, just requoted to make sure you saw what I wrote

I could install a 32bit compatibility layer, but honestly, I find it non essential. Plus there are only a handful of applications that are not 64bit. Wine and everything Google (Picasa, Earth, Chromium). Though 64bit wine is in the works.

I'm waiting on PB's 64bit Linux release. After looking at your source code with PB in KVM, it's actually straight forward, and quite intuitive. So much easier than qt-creator
