    Hey,

During the last couple of days I've been searching in all kinds of forums for a good guide to convert Blu-Ray to PS3 compatible mp4 files. And I did find some good guides. Thus I cut out a 5 minutes clip from a Blu-Ray and encoded it with MeGui and various profiles like, DXVA-HD-Fast, DXVA-HD-HQ, and the PS3-Xbox360 profiles. The video had two audio streams in AAC 5.1 and a resolution of 1080x816 and everything played fine on the PS3.
However, when I encoded the entire movie with the same profiles I cannot play it on the PS3. I get an error message (80028801). How is this possible? I tried streaming it with TwonkyMedia and I compied it to the console, but nothing works. I still get the same error message. Could you please help me figuring out why it won't play?

    Here are the video specs:

I would try stream using ps3 media server and see if it works any better...to rule out the streaming application.

Streaming with PS3 Media Server works, but I can only play the videos when the server re-encodes them. However, the original file won't play. How can that be, using a PS3 profile in MeGui?

  4. I think the thread is dead. But anyway I think mp4 can transport only 1 audio stream. Try m2ts with ac3 audio.
