I copied m2ts files straight to a DVD-9 disc and it works fine. But when I created an AVCHD folder on a DVD-9 disc using AVCHD, it showed me error 80029946 - This video cannot be played. A search reveals that the error means the following:
"Attempting to play burnt Dual layer NTSC disc on a Pal ps3."

But I have an NTSC PS3. And like I said before the m2ts files play fine as data files on the DVD-9 disc.

    Any help would be appreciated.

Using AVCHD? Do you mean multiAVCHD?

Sorry, ... yes I used the MultiAVCHD software to create the AVCHD folders and menu content. I copied the two folders that in the AVCHD directory created by MultAVCHD and burned the DVD-9 disc using ImgBurn. No ... the AVCHD directory was not copied on the disc, only the two subdirs were burned on to disc.

So when I enter the into my PS3, the menu appear, but when I select play, that is when the error message appears.
