    Hi

After a disc crash i have a few dvd folders that are missing the ifo (and other files except the main vob). I dont understand how but somehow vlc can play just the vob and display all the subtitle tracks with correct timing. Now my problem, i want to convert to hardsub. I tried with handbrake, avidemux, autogk and vsrip but no tool can recognise the subtitle tracks. Any ideas?

If you still have the BUP files, then make a copy and change the extension to .ifo and all should be well. The BUP file is just a BackUP copy of the IFO.

If you don't have the BUP files either then you can try to recreate them with IFOEdit.
