    Hi,

    I have ubuntu and I would like to know how it's the best way to record tv signal with my hauppauge from command line. Normally I use mencoder but I would like to know other possibilities

    Which hauppauge?

    cat /dev/video0 > out.mpg for pvr150 type cards.
