i am not getting email notifications of 'replied-to' threads

i just noticed some threads i am watching have had replies in the last few days but i didn't receive the usual email notification. is something going on here? i have logged on to my email server and checked through my filtered mail just to make sure they haven't been flagged as spam, but they are not there. it seems i am just not receiving them...

hmm, well as ecpected, i just received an email notification for this thread.. so i'm not sure why i haven't received any others lately?

Same thing has been happening to me for at least a few months. There's a long delay in the emails. But it varies greatly from a few minutes (expected) to a couple of days. Out going mail limit? I know you can set a limit for how many emails are sent per hour/day/week. Maybe I just need to trim my watched topics list, it's only 1143 - thought it would be much larger.

Could just be a mail relay bogged down somewhere now and then.
