    Hello
    I have a S-VHS Panasonic AG-1980 and it was working fine until i put a tape that first refuse to play automatically, and when i press play i only get garbage on the screen , but sound works perfectly.
    Now it happens with any tape i tried to play.. and i dunno what to do, i dont live in USA so i dunno if someone locally could fix that.
    I appreciate any suggestions, im desperate...

    Did the tape leave some sort of crap on the heads? Maybe it was shedding oxide? I recently had a tape that had some sort of grease on it. Yep, screwed up the VCR, had to clean it.
