    Hi,

    I have a LG DVDR-1000 and LG HD TV which is connected to a set top box (Dish TV). I want to record the live TV into the DVDR.

    I want to use the DVDR also to record conference from a Aethra X5 VC equipment.

    If anyone can guide me.

    Output (video/audio) of your SAT box into the DVDR (line inputs - NOT antenna). There should be diagrams in the user manual of the DVDR and the TV.

    EDIT: The DVDR cannot tune the channels of the SAT. So you simply set the SAT box to the channel you wish to record. On the DVDR you would choose "Line-In".
