Hey everyone i'm a newb here i'm really hoping someone can help me with converting an .MDS file into a .VOB file??

At the moment here is what the files look like in the folder:

    Movie.I00
    Movie.I01
    Movie.MDS

I need to convert these into .VOB files so I can then convert that into .AVI

Can anyone help me with this please?
    Peace out!

You don't have to convert the file into a VOB to then convert it to an AVI file. My understanding is that an MDS file is essentially an MPG file, so you could start be changing the extension to .mpg. From there you can convert it to an avi file using any number of tools (AutoGK, Xvid4PSP etc)

Actually, it's usually Alcohol 120% (or others)'s equivalent of a .cue file. The *.i0* files are probably some sort of disc image.

Sorry - mis-read the file names for one of those HDD cameras.

You have a disk image (probably created by Alcohol 120%).
Just mount it to a virtual disk drive to see the content (try Alcohol 120%, Daemon Tools, Imgburn or any other similar software).
Chances are that you don't need to convert to vob files, because they are already in this format on the disk image.
