Most dvb cards records the ts stream and it is mpeg2 or h264. If you want some other format the card must reeconvert while capturing and I haven't seen any such card.

I would instead try find an editor that can edit it directly, like for mpeg2 you can try mpeg video wizard. You might have to use hdtv2mpg to convert to a standard mpeg2 first.

I don't know any good advanced editor for h264 though.

Thanks Baldrick for your help, your suggestion could be useful but unfortunately not for me, because I want to use DVB files in Edius and Premiere pro projects so if I use Mpeg video wizard I should export files to my editing application again, then if I could not find my favorite DVB device I prefer to convert files to AVI with procoder then work in editing application.
I have a lot of unfinished projects, compatible DVB would be very useful for me, please help? Where should I search? What are famous DVB brands?

Do you know if your DVB streams are MPeg2 or h.264?

If MPeg2 you can use HDTVtoMPEG2 to demux, extract, cut and append streams then output in an MPeg2 file importable to Premiere Pro or Vegas. I'm not sure how Edius handles MPeg2.

There is no recode. You are cutting streams on I frames.

Yes, I know I can convert it, you know every DVB use its codec for capturing MPEG2 or h.264 and this codec isn’t recognized by advance editing application so we should convert DVB files to other format in order to import them in editing applications, am I right?
My question was; are there any DVB cards that I can import its files in editing application directly (without converting)?
