    Hello

I created an MPG file using VOB2MPG. It contains all the Streams from the original VOB. I was able to access audio and subtitles using VLC.
For later conversion to other formats, can I extract the subtitle stream from the new MPG file?
I know how to extract subtitles using VobSub from the VOB files, but want to do the backups now and extract the subtitles when needed.

    Thanks

You have created an MPEG TS file I think. Then try using ProjectX to extract the subtitles. It can demux the file into seperate video, audio and subtitle files.

    Thanks
ProjectX read the mpg file and extracts an idx and sub file. But no subtitles load in VLC.
    Will continue playing with it.
